As soon as the calendar flips over to September, my energy starts to change. There’s that beautiful light of the fall – hazy and mellow. It is that incredible in-between time – the vanishing afternoons of the sun and the crispness of the fall air. It’s a time of balancing reflection and action. The days of lounging and hanging out on the deck begin to fade quickly and my mind turns to the goals for the next months. I guess I spent too many years in school. I am totally conditioned to think of the start of the school year as a time for fresh beginnings and plans.
I heard a quote from Carl Jung recently that really made me stop and think.
It is much easier to walk in shoes too small for us than to step into the largeness the soul expects and demands.
I was thinking about this as I approach this fall and clarify the decisions I am making going forward. I’m ready for another challenge and if you are, you may need some reinforcements to keep you on your path.
Working with Mickey has been a transformative experience for us. Her media industry insight and expertise coupled with her comfortable communicative style helped point us toward company growth. Our session was invaluable and we will definitely work with her in the future.
